5% Cash Back at Walmart or Amazon with Discover Card

Discover is targeting select Discover it cardholders with an offer to earn 5% cash back on Walmart or Amazon purchases. These offers are for purchases in January and February, and are an additional to the regular 5% bonus categories for the first quarter of 2024. Let’s see the details.

The Offer

We have seen two different offers so far:

  • Activate to earn 5% Cashback Bonus at Walmart from 1/1/2024 (or the date on which you activate 5%, whichever is later) through 2/29/2024, on up to $1,000 in purchases.
  • Activate to earn 5% Cashback Bonus at Amazon.com from 1/1/2024 (or the date on which you activate 5%, whichever is later) through 2/29/2024, on up to $1,000 in purchases.

You must activate the offer through the link provided in your email. Note the last four digits of the card that is targeted. That is the only card eligible for the additional cash back at Walmart or Amazon.

Key Terms

  • This offer is different from the quarterly 5% Cashback Bonus program.
  • Enrollment in this offer does not confirm enrollment in the quarterly 5% Cashback Bonus program.
  • Purchases must be made with merchants in the U.S. to qualify for 5%.

Conclusion

Check your emails and activate the offer now. The offers I have seen so fare are for either Walmart or Amazon. If you see any other offers for your cards, please share them in the comments.
