American Express Offering 60K Bonus for Green Card

American Express is sending out targeted offers for the Green Card with a 60,000 Membership Rewards bonus. This matches the highest ever bonus offered for this card, although the spending requirement is higher. Let’s take a look at the details of this offer and what option you have if you’re not targeted.

The Offer

These are some of the offers that are showing up:

  • Earn 60,000 Membership Rewards Points after you spend $4,000 on purchases on your new Card in your first six months.
  • Annual Fee: $150
  • Offer valid through 1/10/2022

This is the link that was provided in the mailer. But you need to enter the 14 digits RSVP code from your offer and the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number.

Conclusion

60,000 Membership Rewards points is the best offer we have seen for the Amex Green Card. This is also a good product to keep long term, with a lower fee than the Amex Gold or Amex Platinum cards. But this latest offer is targeted, so not everyone can apply for it.

However, you do have other option, which can be even better. You can apply through referrals even with the current 45,000 points bonus. If P2 get a referral bonus of 30K or 45K, then you get a total of 75K or 90K.

There’s also this bonus from Resy. You get 50,000 Membership Rewards points plus 20% back at restaurants worldwide up to $150 back.
