American Airlines Awards Bookable on BA Avios Website

For those who don’t know, American Airlines award space has been missing from the British Airways website for a few weeks now. This has been frustrating for me personally, since I have a few flights I want to book and I don’t really like waiting on hold for hours to speak with a BA agent.

Thankfully it seems that the award space has now returned to the British Airways website and they have even made an improvement. Dan’s Deals has pointed out that they now show all of the available flights on a given day instead of just the first few flights. Previously if the flight you wanted didn’t show up, then you had to call an agent.

Dan also points out that several LAN Chile routes which had never been available online are now showing. You can head over to his post for more information on the changes.

Conclusion

I am just happy to be able to book American Airlines flights with my beloved Avios again. I had been holding off on booking, because I simply dread calling in. (Probably not the recommended strategy for most people.) Now they just need to get Alaska Airlines availability online!
