Amazon Pay Now Lets Citi Card Members Pay Over Time

Citi Flex Pay, which lets you pay off a large credit card purchase over time, is now available on thousands of participating online retailers. The new ability comes through the the Amazon Pay button, marking the first time Citi credit card members can leverage Citi Flex Pay through a digital wallet.

This expansion to additional online retailers comes after Citi and Amazon’s launch of Citi Flex Pay for purchases made directly on Amazon.com in August of 2020.

This feature is easy to use. Citi credit card members can select the Amazon Pay button directly at checkout on participating retailers, use their eligible Citi credit card on qualifying purchases of $50 or more and choose a monthly payment plan (3- to 48-months) that works best for them. There’s no application or additional details required so customers can checkout and pay over-time in only a few steps. But you will pay interest on those payments.

However, as part of the launch of this new feature, now through July 31st, 2023, cardmembers that select 3-, 6-, or 12-month payment plans will receive a 0% APR when using this feature on Amazon Pay at participating retailers’ checkout.
