The American Airlines Business Extra program is a loyalty program for businesses. This is in addition to the AAdvantage program, so you can double dip by earning points from both programs. When employees fly, they earn their individual AAdvantage miles, and member companies earn points that can be redeemed for travel awards. Companies earn 1 point for every $5 spent on flights on American, British Airways and Iberia, as well as codeshare flights on Finnair, Qantas and Japan Airlines. Points can be redeemed for free flights, awards and more. American Airlines Business Extra now has a great signup bonus, but it comes with a small catch.

  • Travel by June 30, 2020
  • Earn 2000 Business ExtrAA points, enough in the Business ExtrAA program for a free domestic roundtrip (BX1A PlanAhead® Award)

Conclusion

This is a great offer for joining the American Airlines Business Extra program. But the catch is that June 30th deadline to complete your first flight. That might be a little too soon for most people.

If you think you might fly before then, make sure to sign up for the American Airlines Business Extra program to earn the extra points. Otherwise might be better to wait and hope for the offer to stick around.
