American Airlines Pilot’s UFO Sighting Over New Mexico

An American Airlines pilot, flying from Cincinnati to Phoenix, reported a close encounter with a “long cylindrical object that almost looked like a cruise missile”. The sighting was at about 37,000 feet. The incident involved Flight 2292 on Sunday while the Airbus A320 was flying at 406 mph, west of Des Moines.

The information was revealed from an experienced radio interceptor, Steve Douglass, who posted it on his Deep Black Horizon blog. “Do you have any targets up here? We just had something go right over the top of us,” the pilot is heard saying in the radio transmission. “I hate to say this but it looked like a long cylindrical object that almost looked like a cruise missile type of thing moving really fast,” he added.

American Airlines confirmed that the radio transmission is authentic, but did not give any additional information on the possible alien encounter. The FAA also released a short statement regarding the incident, saying that “a pilot reported seeing an object over New Mexico shortly after noon local time on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021. FAA air traffic controllers did not see any object in the area on their radarscopes.”

FBI spokesperson Frank Connor said the agency “is aware of the reported incident,” in an email statement sent to Fox News. “While our policy is to neither confirm nor deny investigations, the FBI works continuously with our federal, state, local, and tribal partners to share intelligence and protect the public. Anyone who is aware of suspicious or criminal activity should contact their local law enforcement agency or the FBI,” he added.
