American Casino Guide 2018 Coupons

Over the past couple of years Shawn has written in detail about the American Casino Guide and how it is a great tool for saving money in Vegas.

The American Casino Guide is a coupon/entertainment book for casinos. Between its gambling information for beginners and the sheer number of money saving coupons, it really is a must for any Vegas trip.

Coupons & More

I bought one last year after reading about it on Miles to Memories.  It had a few good free play and match play coupons as well as other things like start your blackjack hand with an Ace etc.

I think I used around 5 or 6 coupons last year which covered the cost of the book and saved me/won an additional $50 from the coupons.  And that was me cherry picking the gambling coupons from the places I wanted to go to.

I didn’t get into the show offers, restaurant discounts, BOGO buffet passes, or free drinks etc.  Shawn purchases a book every year for these deals being a local.

Last year’s version focused more on casinos on and around Fremont Street for the casino offers.  There were still quite a few non gambling offers on the strip though.

The company sells the book directly for about $14 including shipping.  Amazon also offers the book for around $14 with Prime Shipping. Hopefully you have some discounted Amazon gift cards lying around to reduce that cost even more!

Conclusion

I know a lot of people love popping into Vegas or other casinos around the country and this inexpensive book is a good way to save some money and to discover new casinos you hadn’t visited before.

  1. Las Vegas Advisor (LVA) is more expensive, but also a good option. Personally, I buy ACG and LVA and use both of them. There are particularly a lot of coupons for Fremont Street hotels.
