American Express Will Open New Centurion Lounge in Japan
American Express has revealed the latest location for one of its popular Centurion Lounges. The company said today that it will open its first Centurion Lounge in Japan in 2025.
The lounge will be located in Tokyo Haneda Airport’s Terminal 3, the main international terminal. Terminal 3 is further away from Terminals 1 and 2, so you need to take either the Tokyo Monorail or the Keikyu Line to get there.
The new Centurion Lounge at Tokyo Haneda has a decent size at 7,351 square feet and will have 122 seats. The lounge will be located airside, after security and immigration, on the fourth floor of Terminal 3.
As it’s the case with most Centurion Lounges, you can expect designs that incorporate Japanese traditions, artisan culture, and art, as well as food and beverages that give passengers a taste of the Japanese culinary culture.
Travelers with The Platinum Card® from American Express, The Business Platinum Card® from American Express or the Centurion® Card from American Express receive complimentary access to this lounge.
“Especially among millennials and Gen Z, travel demand to Japan is increasing and so the opening of a Centurion Lounge at Haneda Airport is a significant addition to American Express’ global lounge network”, said Audrey Hendley, the President of Global Travel & Lifestyle Services at American Express.
