Americans Will Receive $600 Checks As Soon As Next Week
The new Covid-19 relief bill has passed both chambers of Congress and is expected to be signed by President Trump. We already covered some of the details of the bill yesterday, including $600 checks that will be sent out to millions of Americans.
As a reminder, a one time payment of $600 will be sent to individuals making up to $75,000 a year. Couples making up to $150,000 will receive $1,200. Then there’s an additional $600 per child. The payments decrease for people who made more than $75,000 during 2019. They would phase out completely for people who made above $99,000 that year.
This time around, mixed-status households with undocumented family members, will receive stimulus checks as well. They weren’t eligible for payments under the first round of legislation in the spring.
The money should be on the hands of American consumers pretty quickly. “People are going to see this money at the beginning of next week,” Mnuchin told CNBC. “So it’s very fast, it’s money that gets recirculated in the economy. People go out and spend this money, and that helps small business and that helps getting more people back to work.”

Trump just said he will veto the bill so no money.
The votes had enough support to overturn a veto. If anything it will just get delayed a month and then resubmitted imo.

It should go to the same account your last stimulus “check” went.
