Earn $25 When You Add an Amex Authorized User

American Express is targeting some credit card account with an offer to add authorized users.

The Offer

Add an Additional Cad and you can earn a $25 statement credit after you Additional Card Members spend $250 in purchases in the following 3 months on their Cards.

You should check your accounts to see if you’re targeted, or log in here.

Need to Know

One of the main reasons to add additional users to your Amex accounts is that you can use them for Amex Offers.

However keep in mind that you need to a SSN to add extra cards and they will show up on the authorized user’s credit report. It will also count towards his/hers 5/24 limit.

If you don’t have anyone else to add, you can get a second card for yourself.

Conclusion

This is a nice bonus for those who haven’t added any authorized users to their accounts. We’ve seen these bonuses in the past and we’ve even seen bonuses as high as $50.

  1. I checked my account using the link in the post. For Delta Platinum, I get 2500 miles for an authorized user after he/she makes $500 in purchases. Since SSN should be provided, I will skip it.
