Targeted Bonuses for Amex Business Platinum & Gold with Extra $300 Credit

American Express has been super generous lately with big welcome bonus. Many Amex cardholders have received some king of targeted offer for either personal or business credit cards. Now there are two new big welcome offers for the Amex Business Platinum and Amex Business Gold cards that also have an extra $300 bonus for using Vendor Pay.

These are targeted offers that do not have the lifetime language in the terms. You can check the offer links below and log in to see if you are eligible.

Amex Business Platinum

  • Earn 150K Membership Rewards Points After you spend $15,000 on your new Business Platinum Card in the first 3 months.
  • Plus, earn $100 for every transaction greater than $1,000 made on Vendor Pay in the first 3 months. A maximum of 3 transactions per Card Member will be rewarded during the offer period.
  • Apply by 9/15/21.

Amex Business Gold

  • Earn 90K Membership Rewards Points After you spend $10,000 on your new Business Gold Card in the first 3 months.
  • Plus, earn $100 for every transaction greater than $1,000 made on Vendor Pay in the first 3 months. A maximum of 3 transactions per Card Member will be rewarded during the offer period.
  • Apply by 12/31/21.

Conclusion

These are great welcome bonuses for either card. We have seen bundle offers in the past that have the same 150K and 90K bonuses, and an additional 10K points for adding an employee card. These two latest offers have the $300 added credit instead.

For the additional $300 credit you need to use Amex Vendor Pay. This looks like a business bill pay service. You can pay your vendors by Card using a virtual credit card number, check, or ACH. There’s no fee for the Basic package.

The offer has no lifetime language either from what I see so that is another reason why this offer is great. It means you can get around the lifetime restriction and get a bonus on this card once again. But you should check the terms in your application page to make sure.

Let us know if you are targeted.

  1. “offer not available” on both cards aka I’m not targeted
No surprise as they offered me twice this year to open Business Gold/Platinum without lifetime language before and I took the offers.

  2. Looks like the AMEX 90K with Vendor Pay is expired? You get to the Landing page and once you apply it says offer expired. I have a Targeted offer – but the extra 300 is good deal. I will try this later.

  3. Targeted for both Platinum and Gold business cards for 150K and 90K respectively. Working on the platinum and will go for the gold after we complete the platinum. But, with the elimination of the Delta transfer and the reduction in the Schwab cash out value, it probably will be the last time I go for it, at least for now.
