Delta has a targeted promotion offering some cardholders a $200 statement credit and some extra miles. Let’s look at the details.

The Offer

Enroll and earn 1 additional mile per dollar (for a total of 2 miles) on US Restaurant and US Supermarket purchases. You can also earn a $200 statement credit after you spend $1,000 on eligible Delta purchases on your Card during the promotional period. Enroll by 2/15/19. Promotion ends 7/15/19.

Conclusion

A decent offer if you are able to be targeted for it.  The 1 point per dollar on Restaurants and Grocery spend isn’t that great but 20% off $1000 on Delta is a pretty great offer.  I would imagine a gift card would trigger the 20% discount.
