Amex Lifetime Restriction
Unfortunately, you can only get one sign-up bonus per product per lifetime on personal and business Amex cards. Here is the language they use on card applications: WELCOME BONUS OFFER NOT AVAILABLE TO APPLICANTS WHO HAVE OR HAVE HAD THIS PRODUCT.
There really isn’t much wiggle room in that. If you have had a card before, you will not receive the bonus. Sometimes you’re able able to get a bonus again if you’ve had a card many years ago, but best way to be sure would be to check with Amex what cards you have and had in the past.
Conclusion
The bonuses for Platinum cards match the highest bonuses ever, while the bonuses for the Gold cards are pretty close to the best ever bonuses (we’ve seen the same offer with a $100 statement credit)
The offers for the personal and business Gold Delta cards are probably the most appealing since the annual fee is waived the first year. But the Platinum Delta cards also make sense for some, since you get 10K more miles, 10K MQM and $50 more in statement credit for an annual fee of $195.

If I have had the gold with one business, can I qualify with a different businesss?
Officially no, but some people have received bonuses for separate businesses.
If I have the Delta gold business, is the Delta platinum business considered the same product?
No Gold and Platinum are separate products.
Do business cards count toward the maximum 4/5/6 credit card that a person can have with Amex?
Yes I was denied for the gold biz because they said I had too many credit cards with them.
Yes business credit cards (not charge cards like Platinum, etc.) count.
