Amex Expands Streaming Options on Blue Cash Preferred Card

The American Express Blue Cash Preferred® Card earns unlimited 6% cash back on U.S. Select Streaming Subscriptions. This makes it the best option for these recurring purchases, unless you have other limited time promotions or credits.

Now the list of eligible services has been expanded to a total of 32 popular streaming providers including new partners like MGM+ (added in August 2024), AMC+, BritBox, Discovery+, and Starz. You can see the full here.

This category expansion is in addition to the existing benefit on the Blue Cash Preferred® Card where Card Members can receive up to $7 back monthly (for a total of up to $84 back annually) after using an enrolled Blue Cash Preferred Card to spend $9.99 or more on a subscription to the Disney Bundle.

The Blue Cash Preferred® Card has a $95 annual fee that is waived the first year. Currently it comes with a welcome of $250 after spending $3,000 in the first six months. However, we have seen better offers in the past.

Besides the benefits listed above, the card also earns 6% cash back on groceries (up to $6,000 per year).
