Analysis

The Boxed.com and Hotels.com offers are the most interesting. Boxed usually sells discounted gift cards or it could be great value for personal use when stacked with 20% off discount with promo code SURVEY10 for new customers and portal cashback. The Hotels.com offer on gift card purchases could also yield some free points, or save you 20% off towards future bookings.

Conclusion

A few new offers from Amex and some could be useful, but mostly for personal use. Maybe keep an eye out for gift card sale at Boxed, if you’re looking to turn in a profit. 1. Can the Hotel.com be used towards new hotel bookings online? The gift card is sent to me electronically? (I’m overseas at the moment)

    • Hi Sheila – Yes, the Hotels.com gift card is good towards new bookings, and can e-mailed to you electronically.

      All my best,

  2. I think the Blue Apron offer is being overlooked. If you were referred by a current member that had free meals to give you would end up getting two shipments for $45. Top that off by going thru a portal and you are at $30 for 6 meals. They are not the easiest to cook, but if you have basic skills they are manageable. I enjoy the fact that it forces me to try new things. I would have never known I like watermelon radish if it was not for Blue Apron.

If anyone is interested I have 5 free meals to give.

      • Hi Don, just to be clear, I should have said I can give 5 different people a free box. Each box contains three meals for two people. Their system is a little different I have to input your email and it will shoot you over the link for the free box. More than happy to give you a box, just need an email you want it sent to.

        • Not a big deal. Are there any issues putting an email address in the comments section, or is there a better way of exchanging emails?

          • Shouldn’t be too big of a deal to leave it here, most people that are going to read this post have already read it. If you are on twitter you could follow me at @philznc and then DM me the email there.
