Amex Platinum 100KÂ Offer
American Express has a new 100K offer. There’s no direct link and seems to be targeted, but it’s worth giving it a try. Let’s see how it works.
The Offer
This offer is showing up through the Baidu method, which just means that you have to start your search through the Chinese search engine. Here’s the steps:
- Clear browsing history in chrome
- Open new incognito window
- Go to baidu.com and search for American Express
- Select the first search result
- On the AmEx website choose Cards > Charge and Credit Card Offers > Check for offers
Fill out your information and click View Card Offers. Hopefully you see the offers without having to log in. I believe if it matches your info to a current account it will ask you to log in, so maybe try a different variation of your street address.
I see a few offers without having to log in, but nothing interesting. If you don’t get anything right away, keep trying a few times.
Analysis
The bonus of 100,000 Membership Rewards points is one of the best bonuses we see on this card and it’s obviously a great opportunity.
This offer include the lifetime restriction that we usually see on Amex cards, so the welcome bonus offer is not available to applicants who have or have had this product., even if you get the offer to show up.
Use Caution
This is not really a targeted offers and it is not public, so it looks similar to those leaked links we’ve seen in the past. I would suggest to strictly avoid any MS if you get the offer and you apply. Card Details
The card was recently upgraded, with added benefits, a metal design and an increased annual fee of $550. A $200 annual Uber credit was on of the main additions. Now you can also get free additional Gold Cards, which is great for Amex Offers.
Conclusion
This is one of the best offers you’ll see on this card, aside from the rare 150K offers. Seems tricky to actually get the offer to show up, it’s worth a few tries.
Let me know if you’re successful.
