Conclusion
We’ve seen these offers before for the Amex SPG card. It’s a nice way to add SPG points to your account, which are hard to earn besides sign up bonuses. With this offer you’ll earn 2x Starpoints on $15,000 in purchases. Just make sure you’re targeted first, enroll and complete the spending a few days before the December 31, 2017 deadline to make sure your purchases post in time.

what, no mention of Amex RAT teams? Or would you want to chance that the plague of amex RATs only affects sign up bonuses?
I was really hoping to be targeted, but I’ve never gotten one yet, so I suppose it’s normal. After a few dozen of these offers have shown me ineligible, I’m getting discouraged.
I have to wonder what data AMEX uses to determine who gets what offers? Maybe the more offers a person uses the more likely they are to be rewarded? Maybe the amount the spend or total credit line? Either way, I do not get any of the targeted offers like this one.
Meh…not hard for a business card if you have a decently sized business.
This is a promotion? Meh.
