Amazon allegedly scammed out of $370K by 22-year-old’s return shipments of dirt – FOX Business

It is amazing how many scams we see on Amazon returns/shipments.  But since they are a huge corporation it is expected.  People tend to get too greedy and that is how they get caught. It is crazy that this went on long enough to rack up that kind of money.  And how did his account not get shut down for too many returns?

DEAL DEAD – Being able to buy a MO with a cc at Safeway – Miles per Day

This was a nice win if you were able to find a willing store.  Hopefully you didn’t get stuck with one of their scammed gift cards though.  The scams are getting better and better.

MY PERSONAL RANKING OF U.S. AIRLINES: BEST TO WORST – Family Flys Free

Ian’s ranking of Spirit is too low, or maybe it isn’t after all :). I always find it interesting to see how people rank airlines.  I can’t argue with who he puts up top, Delta is my favorite to deal with as well.

  1. Hey Mark, random Hyatt question. I booked a night at the HR Seattle from my dads account for myself using his anniversary certificate. He has the old Hyatt card but never stays at Hyatt’s. When I checked in I was informed by the front desk I was guested globalist benefits. He said something about being “red carded” the benefits or something. He obviously continued with all the globalist benefits I’d receive while staying like the club lounge but I don’t get how any of it’s possible since my pops has no status at all. Any idea how it happened?

    • No idea why you would have received Globalist status – I am guessing the hotel just mixed something up.

  2. Safeway is awful. The old checkers at our local one will *not* sell you a Visa or Mastercard gift card unless you pay in cash. And forget about MOs.

  3. The Safeway CC for MO thing seems like one of those system loopholes where you need a confederate to actually do it, as the trainings say cash only.
