  1. I’ve seen this “safest state” list before and it’s not accurate. Sure I get the mythodology on the mask restrictions but saying a state is dangerous because of the number of offline homes? Really. Say what you want but I think I’d feel safer any day of the week (and in any year) in South Dakota than in say Illinois or New Jersey and I live in Illinois.

    • I don’t know – per capita South Dakota is worse than all of those places right now. There is less of a crowd for sure but also less infrastructure should anything go wrong.
