Here are the articles for this edition:
MoviePass Sues Competitor Sinemia – Variety
Sinemia is the largest competitor to MoviePass. They offer two free movies per month for $10 per month. You are able to book movies with them via Fandago (while using cash back portals etc.) instead having to be at the theater like MoviePass. But the value is limited to two movies plus cash back, and the gap got even wider with MoviePass’ recent price reduction. You can check out my review of MoviePass here.
Meeting Jonathon on St Helena – Seat31B
This is one part of a pretty good series that Seat31B has been writing about his trip to St Helena. Seeing a 186 year old animal (the oldest living land animal) is a pretty unique trip report!
Amex’s RAT Team Denying Some Spending Bonuses Too – MilesperDay
Interesting to see American Express coming down on spending bonuses and not just sign up bonuses. It is also interesting that they are attacking non MR earning cards. Something to remember if you go for one of their newly increased sign up bonuses.
Walmart Money Order Fee Increasing – PointChaser
Not a huge increase by any means but something that the MSers out there should be aware of. Make sure to check the board before picking your amounts so you are not surprised.
$3 off Mastercard Gift Card Purchases – Danny the Deal Guru
Another gem for the MSers out there…a nice little savings that should cut your costs down substantially!
