Bachelor/Bachelorette Party Locations For Different Tastes
Are you the lucky maid of honor or best man and struggling to come up with an idea for your party planning? Las Vegas is the most popular choice for the soon to be married’s last weekend of freedom but lets dig a little deeper. I wanted to offer up some suggestions to match different people’s tastes. Because Vegas and partying all night isn’t for everyone, although that will be on the list too!
Party All Night
Alright I did say it would be on the list so why not kick it off with a few alternatives to Las Vegas if you just wanna get lit with your group of friends. The key here was having a lot of options to hang out at and to have it be going all night. Just like Vegas but not Vegas!
New Orleans
Nothing goes all night quite like New Orleans. Even though there are not casinos pumping you free-ish drinks, they do have one though, many of the bars are often open until the last patron leaves. If you hit Bourbon Street during the day many locations will have 3 for 1 beers until around dinner time. Perfect to start off your night and then finish up at Frenchmen Street for some live music and more laid back evenings to cap it off.

New York City
It is called the city that never sleeps for a reason. And there are bars, restaurants, and clubs everywhere! And they are open till 4am. Nothing good happens after 4am anyway, or does it? The drinks can be pricey but you can find some deals in the Murray Hill area if you are looking to get more bang for your buck. And if you wanna go all BougieAF there isn’t a better place!

Music Lovers
If you have a bride or groom that loves live music then check out these locations.
Nashville
It is Music City USA after all. There are people playing live music everywhere, even at the airport. And at night the streets are packed and the atmosphere is fierce. Don’t even get me started on the Nashville Hot Chicken either!
Austin
Some call Austin the live music capital of the world. Can’t go wrong with that can you? If you are not into the honkytonk music scene in Nashville then this may fit the bill. Especially if you like the “stay weird” vibe.
Chicago & Seattle
Two a little under the radar music spots are Chi-town and Seattle. Chicago has a great blues scene and plenty of music to be had. And you can hit up the riverwalk and grab some dinner before hitting the venue.
Seattle hasn’t been as noticeable since the grunge scene left but there is still a pretty solid scene going on there.
Beach Lovers
Maybe you wanna just chill on the beach most of the day with your crew. I took a look at some of the best beaches that still had a good nightlife.
Miami
It doesn’t get much sexier than Miami. Hang out all day getting your tan perfected and then hit up a salsa club or two to burn off that Cuban sandwich!
Los Angeles
LA has beach choices scattered all over the place, if you don’t mind a little drive time. LA also has a great night life waiting for you at the end of the day. If you don’t mind hopping around on your trip this could be your spot.
The Trifecta?
Is there a location that checks all of the boxes? Can you get a beach, party all night atmosphere, and some great live music all in one? I bet there are a few places that fit the bill but I know Key West does for sure. The beaches are not world class but you can get your tan on for sure. The bars are open late (4 am) and almost all of them have someone performing live music. It may be a one person show but that is the way I like it, how about you?
Conclusion
Hopefully this gave you some ideas if you are planning an upcoming bachelor or bachelorette party. If you have an amazing place to add to the list or want to share where you went on your bachelor/bachelorette party let me know in the comments.

Cancun is a lot of fun. Bangkok is great as well, but a fiance might get the wrong impression, given its’ reputation for sex tourism, which is sad.
lolol apparently you only have to travel to Florida for that!
Really? My home state, but I never heard anything along those lines.
You can’t swing a cat in Nashville on a weekend night without hitting a bachelorette party.
(in reference to Robert Krafts activities outside football!)
My bad. I should have caught that. Apparently, geezerdom is closer for me than I’d thought.
Pam with the zinger! 🙂
Both great options. I was trying to focus on domestic options. Cancun is great if you pair it with an AI though for sure!
NashVegas is consistently ranked the #1 Bachelorette party destination but is also the highest hotel room rates in the country! Off the charts – cash or points, hard for group travel. Airbnb makes so much sense for groups but also nice to have hotel services for splurge occasions like this.
I think my personal favorite is Palm Springs – lots of lodging options & easy to hop from one fun locale to another. Cabaret shows to live music to just awesome happy hours, always lots of entertainment. Spas can also be pretty key when it comes to girl trips, they offer in spades.
Palm Springs is a great one. Yeah Nashville is tough even on points. Vegas you can find deals depending on the time of the year but points usually are not a good option in Vegas since the hotels are priced so high on Hyatt and now Wyndham.
