Baha Mar Adds New $200M Luxury Beachfront Water Park

Baha Mar in the Bahamas is a popular destination. Many readers have probably been there since it opened four years ago or have it on their to-do list. There’s a Grand Hyatt on the property and also SLS and Rosewood hotel. The Grand Hyatt Baha Mar is located in Nassau, Bahamas on Cable Beach. It’s about a 12-15 minute drive from Lynden Pindling International Airport.

We have written often about this resort. You can see our suite tour here, a not so flattering trip report, and ways to save on drinks and food. But if you are planning to visit, or need another reason to do so, Baha Mar has added a brand new luxury beachfront water park: Baha Bay.

Baha Bay is set on 15 lush oceanfront acres within a remarkable Bahamian backdrop. It offers water attractions, luxury cabanas, more food options, an exclusive gaming pavilion and more.

Boasting an expansive selection of al fresco dining with elevated culinary concepts, Baha Bay’s guests can indulge in a variety of innovative cuisine options at The Market, home to Cleo Grill, Sam’s Crispy Chicken, Plant Nation and Chill. Additional individual restaurants include the Sugar Factory, Umami Burger, and Barracuda food trucks.

  1. I have a 5k delta vacation voucher and I thought about using it the Atlantis but I may give this a shot. Will see what the kids say.
