You Can Now Apply for the Bank of America Premium Rewards Elite Card

The Bank of America Premium Rewards Elite Card was announced in November. This is a premium credit card with a $550 annual fee and a 50,000 points welcome bonus.

The card earns 2X points on travel and dining purchases and 1.5X points per dollar on all other purchases. That means that Preferred Rewards members ca get up to 3.5X points on travel and dining and up to 2.62X points everywhere else. You can redeem points for travel, cash back, a statement credit, distinctive experiences or gift cards.

There also offers other perks and benefits that you can such as 20% savings on domestic and international airfare, $300 in airline incidental credits and more. You can read all about it in our review.

But while the card was announced about three months ago, it was not publicly available for applications until now. We saw briefly an application link which was around about a day or so, but now the card is officially live and you can apply here.

This one-time promotion is limited to customers opening a new account in response to this offer and will not apply to requests to convert existing accounts. If approved for an account, your credit line will be at least $10,000. And if you have existing credit card accounts with Bank of America, it may use the available credit on the existing account(s) to approve your new credit card and shift some of it.

  1. You mentioned that the card will have at least a $10k limit but you also said it’s NPSL. Can you clarify a bit?
