Bank of America Subscription Credits for BofA Rewards Members
Bank of America is adding a new perk for some Preferred Rewards members in its BofA Rewards program overhaul. Eligible customers will receive monthly subscription credits that can be used toward select services including Paramount+, SiriusXM, The Wall Street Journal and The Economist.
According to details shared by Doctor of Credit, customers in the Preferred Honors tier ($100K-$1M in assets) will receive an $8 monthly credit, while Premier tier members ($1M+) will receive a $15 monthly credit.
The credits work when paying eligible subscriptions with a Bank of America debit card linked to a qualifying checking account.
The new credits are part of the broader transition from Preferred Rewards to the new “BofA Rewards” program. BofA Rewards features four tiers based on a client’s three-month average account balance across their qualifying Bank of America and Merrill accounts:
- Member tier: <$30,000
- Preferred Plus tier: $30,000 to <$100,000
- Preferred Honors tier: $100,000 to <$1 million
- Premier tier: $1 million+
Enrolled BofA Rewards members with eligible Bank of America® credit cards can receive a BofA Rewards bonus of 10% for the Member tier, 25% for the Preferred Plus tier, 50% for the Preferred Honors tier, or 75% for the Premier tier.
