Conclusion
The Hawaiian Airlines World Elite Mastercard now has a 70,000 miles bonus, and you only need to make one purchase to earn it. We have seen a 80,000 offer in the past, but it required $4,000 in purchases.
Hawaiian miles have lost some value over the years, but these bonuses are still worth it for those who are familiar with the program. The value of this bonus should easily be worth $600 or more
The business version of this card has an even higher bonus of 80,000 HawaiianMiles, and waived annual fee.

The best use of Hawaiian miles is either 7500 miles for inter island travel if you have to travel at a specific time/day that is far above normal cheap inter island flight prices or using 25000 each way to upgrade a paid main cabin flight to lie flat first class from the west coast/Vegas/Phoenix. While cheap inter island flights can go for $39 or less one way, highly desired flight times often go for over $100 one way, yielding 1.6 cents per mile. Lie flat first class can often go for $1200-$2400 while Coach tickets run from $100-$400 regularly, representing a savings of $1100-$2000. This is. The best bang for your buck as it values Hawaiian miles at $.044 to $.08 each. You also earn miles based on an economy fare while doing this(Hawaiian still awards 1 miles per mile flown, or roughly 10% of miles redeemed to upgrade). About as great a value as you will realize for a domestic flight. It is also possible to upgrade an east coast flight(Boston and NY) for 50,000 miles each way. While current A330s offer 2-2-2 up front, the Dreamliners will offer 1-2-1 and will be utilized on east coast flights early on as well as internationally. This may end up being one of the best values domestically assuming the award chart doesn’t change.
