The Berlin Wall As Part Of Your Vegas Experience

Did you know that you don’t have to travel all the way to Germany to see the Berlin Wall? Well it’s true. Among the bright lights, booze & slot machines of Downtown Las Vegas is a place where you can see a section of the famous wall. It is just… well… hidden.

The Main Street Station Hotel & Casino is located in Downtown Las Vegas, a couple of blocks from Fremont Street. In addition to being known for having an award winning micro-brewery, it also houses a chunk of that oh so famous wall.

You haven’t heard of the museum in Vegas with the Berlin Wall? Well okay, it isn’t exactly a museum. This chunk of the wall actually sits behind the urinals in the men’s bathroom located between the buffet and the casino cage.

Now women have often complained over the years about being left out of this spectacle. (Who doesn’t want to see a chunk of concrete hanging behind a bunch of urinals in a casino?) While it isn’t guaranteed, I have heard rumors that nice employees have been known to clear the bathroom so an inquisitive female guest can take a look.

Of course, thanks to the miracle of the internet and this fantabulous website, you know what it looks like. So next time you are in Vegas, grab a beer (or two) and head to the only place in America where you can pee on (or in front of) the Berlin Wall. If you care to see more urinal pictures, Michael over at Michael W. Travels has a more extensive look at the bathroom!
