Bonvoy Bonus Weekends Targeted Offers – Share Yours Here!

Marriott Bonvoy has sent out what looks to be a targeted offer where people can earn bonus points for weekend stays.  I will share my offer and please share yours in the comments below so we can see what is out there.

Details of My Offer

Exclusively for You, Mark: Earn up to 5,000 bonus points on eligible stays that include a weekend night. Register, then stay within 3 months to earn your exclusive bonus:

  • First weekend stay – 2,000 points
  • Second weekend stay – 3,000 points

Registration must occur within three weeks of receiving this email. A weekend night is defined as a Friday or Saturday night. A ‘stay’ is defined as consecutive nights spent at the same hotel, regardless of check-in/check-out activity. Remember to book directly with Marriott to earn.

ExecuStay, Marriott Executive Apartments and Marriott Vacation Club® owner-occupied weeks are not eligible for the Promotion, and nights spent while redeeming an award are not eligible for the Promotion. For a list of current participating hotels, visit www.marriott.com/loyalty/earn/hotels.mi.

Final Thoughts

5,000 Marriott Bonvoy points are worth around $40 to me so nothing great.  I kicked Marriott to the curb months ago so I will be skipping this promo for sure. Even if I was a Marriott Bonvoy loyalist I wouldn’t go out of my way to complete this promo.  If you already have the stays booked then great but don’t change things around to hit it unless the cost is equal to the other hotel you already have booked. It may be worth it if award stays were included, how Hyatt does it.
