Book 12 Six Senses Resorts with IHG Points
IHG purchased Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas from private equity fund Pegasus Capital Advisors for $300 million in 2019. The sale at the time included the management of 16 hotels and resorts, 37 spas and sister companies Evason and Raison d’Etre.
The number of Six Senses hotels is now up to 20, and is expected to continue to grow to 60 within the end of the decade. However, the integration into the IHG One Rewards program have been slow.
Until a couple of months ago, just 9 properties were available to book with IHG points. But now that number is up to 12. IHG One Rewards members can also earn 10x IHG points per dollar at Six Senses resorts.
Here’s a list of all the Six Senses properties that are now part of the IHG One Rewards program and can be booked with IHG points:
- NEW: Six Senses Botanique (Brazil)
- NEW: Six Senses Courchevel Residences (France)
- Six Senses Fiji (Fiji)
- Six Senses Ibiza (Spain)
- NEW: Six Senses Kanuhura (Maldives)
- Six Senses Kaplankaya (Turkey)
- Six Senses Laamu (Maldives)
- Six Senses Ninh Van Bay (Vietnam)
- Six Senses Shaharut (Israel)
- Six Senses Uluwatu Bali (Indonesia)
- Six Senses Yao Noi (Thailand)
- Six Senses Zil Pasyon (Seychelles)
One Mile at a Time reports that some properties are only bookable through the new IHG One Rewards app for now and not through the IHG site. That could be a temporary glitch, but if you don’t see a property on the site, make sure to check the app as well.
Conclusion
Six Senses properties are designed and built to offer sublime experiences with a focus on wellness. Each property has a distinctive and diverse personality that makes use of the natural land topography.
These properties also offer a good value for IHG One Rewards members, especially if they have elite status.
