Buying A $500K Villa In Tuscany For $35

How Does Buying A $500K Villa In Tuscany For $35 Sound? Do You Feel Lucky?

Travel + Leisure shared a pretty interesting opportunity for dreamers.  You can win an almost $500K Tuscany Villa for the minuscule cost of $35. The owners of the house are raffling off their home and offering up entries into the raffle at the mere cost of £25 (approximately $35).

This isn’t the first time the owners have sold one of their properties this way either.  Earlier this year they gave away a similar property at a similar price. The only “catch” with the offer is that they must have over 20,000 entries for the contest to happen.  They don’t believe this should be an issue, as it wasn’t the first time around. The raffle earlier this year was so successful that they were able to donate $69,000 to support children’s charities after covering costs and the purchase price.

The winner not only gets the house, to do what they want with it, but the transfer taxes and legal fees will be included as well.  The winner will also receive a pair of flights to Italy, ground transportation and a two night stay while all of the papers are signed.

Travel + Leisure said that it’s about an hour from Lucca and then another 20 minutes to the Pisa airport, or a two-hour drive from Florence.

After signing all of the documents the new owner can move in, keep it as a summer home, rent it out or turn around and sell it. All for the mere cost of $35…pretty cool!
