Analysis

While Target REDcard holders can always save 5% on everyday purchases at Target, this gives you the ability to earn credit card rewards and to save even more. While the flash sale is advertising 7.5% off, in reality I saw many cards at 8.6% off. Target gift cards are convenient since they can be loaded to your account and brought up in the Target app.

In case you haven’t been paying attention lately, you no longer earn 5X with Chase Ink cards through PayPal. Read Mark’s post for a few options to maximize credit card rewards.

45 Day Guarantee Only: Use Quickly!

CardCash only guarantees their cards for 45 days. From time to time cards purchased from CardCash do go bad. They have always done a good job of guaranteeing cards within the 45 day window, however I would not buy a card unless you have an immediate use.

Conclusion

This is a really good deal in my opinion if you often shop at Target. Just make sure to use the cards within the guarantee window and you could be earning rewards and saving a bit more over using REDcard.
