Caesars Rewards Free Night Promotion – 1 Free Night For 5K Tier Credits

I am not sure if this is a new promo with Caesars Rewards or just and extension of last year’s Caesars Rewards free night promotion.  But it is possible to earn 1 free night to use in Las Vegas or Atlantic City every time you earn 5,000 tier credits.  You can earn up to 7 free nights per year.

Details

Hurdy Gurdy Travel Podcast let us know on Twitter that the promotion is still working and that he had just earned 3 nights.  In the past the promotion was capped to 7 free nights of earning so I assume that is the same this year.  You would have to earn 35,000 tier credits to max out the promotion.

If you did max it out you also get free Laurel Lounge access (reached at 25,000 tier credits).  Surprisingly, Atlantic City has the better lounges but you may not want to visit Atlantic City anytime soon with their new rules in place.

You have to use the free nights by 1/31/22.  That is a much longer window to book then last year.  I believe you need to call in to book these nights, or at least you did last year.  And it is possible to stack them with other comped nights when calling in.

Why Would Bigger Gamblers Care Though?

You may be wondering, why would someone who gambles enough to earn the Caesars Rewards free night care?  And that has some truth to it, most bigger gamblers already get comped nights. I myself get all of my stays comped even though I never come close to hitting these tier credit levels anymore. That is because comps are based on your average daily theoretical.  Basically how much you gamble during a day and what that means your expected loss would be.  It is better to gamble a ton one day then a little bit over 3 days essentially.

The Daily Grinder

That leads me to the first time these offers can be useful.  If someone earns their tier credits at the casino grinding out a few hundred dollars over many visits they are never going to get good comp options. This will open up hotels and dates that would not otherwise be accessible.

Opens Up Weekends

A lot of mid tier gamblers will get comps Sunday-Thursday but not on Friday or Saturdays.  That is when a few of these free nights could come in handy, allowing you access to the valuable weekend stays. As I said above you can link these free night offers to other comp nights as well which adds some value.

Opens Up Better Properties

The last thing the Caesars Rewards free night promotion can come in handy for is getting access to better hotels.  Maybe you always get comp offers for The Flamingo but really want to stay at Caesars etc.  These free nights could let you upgrade yourself to a better property.

Final Thoughts

I know many people are not looking to head to a casino right now. Because of that this promotion may be a moot point to some. However, if you have an upcoming trip to a Caesars Rewards property then keep this Caesars Rewards free night promotion in the back of your mind. Also remember that Caesars Rewards lowered status earning requirements this year as well.

Does this free night promotion entice you to gamble a little bit more or is it kind of worthless fluff to you?

  1. Agreed not worth it since I already get COMP stays too from my play, including weekends. If these free nights didn’t trigger a “gaming day”, it could be worth it. However, I doubt their systems are able to do that.

  2. Yeah just got 5 of these since have 28,000 TCs so far (almost all before March 15). I couldn’t use these last year and likely won’t try this year.

I go to LV and AC a lot but, like you, am almost always comped. Agree w you that these are worthless for people that gamble enough for comps. Just like “free” Atlantis trip (I have been w family and you still can spend a fortune there even if nights are comped) very little in true value

    • Can you ever comment without bragging how much you spend? Who cares how many points you earned before March 15? You could have just said “Got 5 of these this year” and left it at that.
