Chase $500 Business Checking Offer Is Back!!!
Chase is offering once again their best bonus for new business checking accounts. You can get a $500 bonus, but you need to go into a branch to open the account. You could also match to this offer if you applied for the lesser $300 bonus recently. Let’s jump into the details.
The Offer
Open a Chase Performance Business Checking account, deposit $1,000 in new money within 10 business days of account opening, maintain that balance for 60 days and complete five qualifying transactions within 60 days — debit card purchases, Chase QuickDeposit, ACH (Credits) and wires (Credits and Debits).

Key Terms
- Offer Expires: 06/28/2018
- Checking offer is not available to existing Chase business checking clients, local, state or federal Government entities or agencies, Not for Profit organizations, Political Action Committees, or those with fiduciary accounts, campaign accounts, or whose accounts have been closed within 90 days or closed with a negative balance.
- You can only receive one business checking account- related bonus per calendar year.
- Bonuses are considered interest and may be reported on IRS Form 1099- INT (or Form 1042-S, if applicable).
- If the checking account is closed by the client or Chase within six months after opening, we will deduct the bonus amount for that account at closing.
Account Fees
A $30 monthly service fee is waived when you maintain a combined average daily balance of $35,000 or more in linked business savings (excluding Client Funds Savings accounts), business CDs and other Chase Performance Business Checking® accounts.
Keeping $35,000 in the account might not be feasible for everyone. However, you could end up paying the monthly fee only for a month or two anyway. The fee for the first two months is usually waived. Then, after you get the bonus, you should be able to downgrade to a Chase Total Business Checking account that’s easier to keep fee-free. This has worked in the past.
Did You Apply for the $300 Bonus?
Chase is also offering a $300 checking account bonus, until 5/21/2018. That bonus was available earlier this year as well. If  you already applied and opened an account, you are not eligible to go for the $500 bonus now. But, it might be possible to ask to get matched to this higher bonus. The only issues is that the $300 bonus requires a Chase Total Business Checking account ($15 Monthly Service Fee waived with $1,500 balance) and the $500 requires a Chase Performance Business Checking account. Otherwise the requirement are the same.
If they do offer to match you to this better bonus you will be required to upgrade to the Chase Performance Business Checking account. This is not guaranteed, but always worth a try.
Conclusion
If you weren’t able to get in on this very good Chase Business Checking bonus the last time, then thankfully you have another chance. This is the best offer they have for business checking accounts. Get you code now, even if you don;t plan to open the account right away. Chase has often pulled these offers before the expiration date, so don’t miss out. Hopefully you have a branch nearby.

How easy/difficult is it to qualify for these business checking accounts (in terms of requirements for proof of business, paperwork, etc.). Would an eBay business suffice.
Has been fairly easy for me. I’ve opened it with EIN and business certificate this year, but last year I did it with just my SSN. Obviously it might be YYMV but I found Chase to be much lenient than other banks when it comes to proof of business.
