Chase Sapphire Preferred & Freedom Referrals

Yesterday Chase publicly released increased bonuses for both their Sapphire Preferred and Freedom cards. Here are the details of the offers:

Chase Sapphire Preferred: Earn 50,000 points after $4K in spend in 3 months + 5K for adding an authorized user.

Chase Freedom: Earn $150 (15,000 points) after $500 in spend in 3 months + $25 (2,500 points) for adding an authorized user.

If you are a current cardholder of either of those cards, you should now be able to refer your friends to these increased offers and earn 5,000 points per referral up to 50,000 points in a calendar year.

How to Refer-A-Friend

To refer your friends to Chase Sapphire Preferred or Chase Freedom visit chasereferafriend.com and put in your last name, zip code and last four of your Sapphire Preferred or Freedom card number.

With Sapphire Preferred you can click the Twitter option and copy the link from the tweet that is generated. That way you can send your friends the link directly and they don’t need to wait for the email to come.

Unfortunately at this time there is no Twitter or Facebook option for the Chase Freedom referrals. It seems the only way you can refer your friends is to send an email. Keep in mind it can take up to 7 days for Chase to send out the email.

Conclusion

If you are currently a Freedom or Sapphire Preferred cardmember you can earn 5,000 per referral up to 50,000 points in a calendar year. This may be a good way to get your friends an increased offer while pocketing a little something for yourself. Happy referring!

  1. The referral system didn’t work for me neither, but it suddenly works today. If anyone needs a referral for Freedom or Sapphire Preferred, feel free to email me at harrylee666@hotmail.com. It is a great time to apply for these two cards with great offers.

  2. Doesn’t work on the cards I checked.
