Chase Spending Offers
Chase is jump-starting the new quarter with offers to earn extra Ultimate Rewards, cash back or miles for using your cards. New targeted offers were sent out for co-branded credit cards, and even Freedom cards. But you can also check if you are eligible for any of these offers. Let’s take a look at the offers we have seen so far.
Update 2/12/22: We have received reports of more people getting targeted for these offers so check your cards if you didn’t get it the first time around.
The Offers
The following offers should be available on most Hyatt, Southwest, IHG, United and Disney credit cards:
- Earn 5X total Bonus Points/Miles for every $1 you spend on up to $1,500 in combined purchases at Amazon.com, grocery stores and restaurants from Jan. 15 through March 31, 2022.
- Earn 6,000 additional bonus miles when you spend $6,000 in purchases when between January 15 – March 31, 2022.
You can also find these offers on Freedom cards:
- Earn $50 cash back when you make 15 purchases each month from January through March 2022 with your Freedom Unlimited® Card. (Each purchase must be at least $2.00 to qualify.) That’s in addition to the cash back you already earn with your card!
- Select streaming purchases made with your Chase card through 2/15/22 will earn 5% in statement credits on up to $200 in total spend.

You can check with your Chase information here, to see if you are eligible. You can use the offers on as many cards that you are targeted for. The limits mentioned above are per card.

Wow. I have over 10 Chase cards. Not one has an offer.
A bit of guesswork, a bit of experience, across our 5 Chase cards, the 2 least used (meaning, have but a few minor charges in months) are the 2 that received the offers. I’ve found that these spending category and spending level offers hit cards that are not in use, while Chase “rebate” offers hit cards that are most in use. Try to keep 1 or 2 cards heavily used while the rest not, and rotate around once or twice a year.

Got this on my Ritz-Carlton card. Better to use my Citi Premier/Amazon.com anyway.
Is there anywhere to find these promotions when logged in to the chase account ? Or is it the only way to know is when/if they email you the promotion to register with ? I can’t seem to find it anywhere in the account.
My Gateway card has 500 extra points for $1000 spend, and the 5x offer. My CFU has the $50/5000 UR bonus. My IHG has the 5x. Flex, Freedom, Marriott, and CSP have nothing.
And BTW, thanks! Haven’t heard from Chase on any of this except the 500 points on the Gateway.
IHG and United Gateway = activated. CFU and United Explorer = not eligible. Still, a very nice 7,500 miles and 7,500 points, thank you! Usually I eventually receive email invites too, unclear why they don’t hit faster.

My wife’s WoH card worked for the 5x promotion. But my WoH card said the offer was not available. So maybe this is some sort of targeted offer ?
Nothing on my Hyatt Card. Got the 5x up to $1,500 on my Marriott Bonvoy Premier. Meh
