JFK to Puerto Rico for just $35 or 2.6K Chase Ultimate Rewards
Delta Air Lines has some great deals right now for travel from NYC or close to San Juan in Puerto Rico. There’s several dates available in February, March and April where you can fly each way for just $35.
The flights can be booked on Priceline, and would be refundable until 11:29pm EDT tomorrow. Expedia or SkyScanner are also other options to find best prices on these fares.
These are Basic Economy seats, but it is a short flight and ypu likely won’t pack much for a quick vacation. But most Delta credit cards will get you a checked bags for free and priority boarding.
You can also use the Chase Ultimate Rewards portal to book these flights. If you have Chase Ultimate Rewards and a card like Chase Sapphire Reserve that gives you a value of 1.5 cents per point, you can grab these fares for just 2,366 Ultimate Rewards. With the Chase Sapphire Preferred card you get a value of 1.25 cents per point, so you would need 2,840 Ultimate Rewards.
Conclusion
I see a few dates for $35 each way, but check it out right away and book quickly before they are all gone. Don’t forget to use a card that gives you the best rewards on airfare such as Amex Platinum, Citi Prestige or Chase Sapphire Reserve.
