  1. I tried the steak special. It’s Ok. It’s a 16 oz. for $20 like you say. There is fat and sinew that will need to be trimmed away but hey – I think steak costs that much or more in the supermarket. It was strange that there were hardly any people there when I went in on a Saturday night. The few that were there were locals, playing the machines. I’m not sure I would go back unless I was in that specific area. I give it 3.5 out of 5 stars for taste. I give it a 4.00 for value. I give it 4.25 for service. I give it a 2.5 for atmosphere. I would not call this place a hidden gem, though. In front of Jackson’s is a check cashing place, and on the far side (in the corner) is a 7-11. I guess there are enough cameras around to deter any mischief.
