Citi Says Strata Elite Card Launching in Q3

Citi has revealed that it will soon launch a new premium credit card. The name of the card, Strata Elite, has already been known for some time.

The launch of the new card was mentioned in the company’s Earning Result for Q2 2025 on Tuesday. Citi says the new Strata Elite card is coming in the third quarter of 2025.

The presentation did not include any other details about the card, but we’re expecting this to be a premium card with the highest annual fee on the Strata credit card lineup. It could very well be a replacement for the $495 annual fee Citi Prestige card, and could also offer lounge access.

Citi is currently missing a premium credit card offering while Chase recently increased the annual fee to $795 on its popular Sapphire Reserve credit card and American Express is planning a major update to its Platinum Card which could see the annual fee jump to $895.
