Citi Spending Offers 5X

Citi Spending Offers 5X

Citi has long been one of the more active banks when it comes to sending out targeted spending offers. Now they are sending out another round of these lucrative offers for the first quarter of 2023. If targeted, you can earn 5X points on some popular categories. Let’s take a look.

The Offer

Use your card to earn a total 5x miles or points per $1 spent, up to 2,500 points, through 3/31/23. These offers vary, so take a look at the offer you have to see which categories you are eligible for. Some of the categories you might see, include:

      • Grocery category
      • Gas category
      • Hardware Stores, Home Improvement Stores, Lawn & Garden Supply Stores, Home Furnishing Stores
      • Online purchases

Key Terms

  • Bonus points awarded with this offer are subject to a maximum of 2,500 additional points/miles.
  • Valid on purchases till 3/31/23
  • Must activate by 2/15/2023

Conclusion

It is always nice to see these spending offers for cards that you already have. While the cap on this offer is small, it’s easy to hit, and some of the categories can be useful. These offers are normally sent out by email, mailers, or you might even find them online in your Citi accounts.

  1. Have been receiving numerous Citi boosted earnings offers for two years now, nearly always useful. Wondering if there is a way to check card numbers with the offer similar to Chase? The only notice process that I am aware of is a single email.
