Clarion Implosion Drone Style

A couple of weeks ago I wrote about the two upcoming implosions in Vegas. We haven’t really had any buildings blown up since the beginning of the recession, so the city is due.

Thankfully the Clarion implosion happened yesterday at around 2am local time. It was successful for the most part, but as you will see, one of the elevator shafts remained in place, only to be knocked down later in the day.

Technology Progresses

During the last set of implosions we did have HD, but shots were mostly from high up helicopters or static cameras on the ground. Thankfully we now have drones with 4k cameras to capture the implosion in style. Take a look at this video! It is fantastic!

Our next implosion happens next week and I hope this guy takes his drone to capture it as well. Enjoy the video!
