Join the Miles to Memories Facebook Group
Update:Â The group is now over 1,000 people strong and growing! Join us.
Over the past few months I have been trying to think of ways to create more of a community around the site. Some sites have created forums which I enjoy, but I don’t think are the right solution for Miles to Memories and I also think the forums we have are mature enough that we don’t need another.
Every day I receive emails from readers and I do my best to answer questions. I began to think that it would be a good idea to get some of this information out to others. I have thought about creating a question and answer page on the site and may still do that, but that isn’t really a community and doesn’t provide for a lot of interaction.
Today I am announcing the Miles to Memories Facebook group. As I said, this is an experiment, so we will see how it grows and develops. Perhaps this is a terrible idea and no one will join, but I thought why not give it a try? The Facebook group will be in a way an extension of the site.
That means the following topics are welcome and will be discussed:
- Miles/points
- Credit Cards
- Deals
- Loyalty programs
- Travel hacking
- Family Travel
- Gift Cards
- Merchandise reselling
- Ticket reselling
- & other random things
I will do my best to spend time in the group answering your questions and helping to start conversations. If you do decide to join, I ask that you help others if you have the time and knowledge.
Getting Into the Group
In order to get into the group I will have to accept you, although I don’t plan on excluding anyone as long as you follow the rules (which are posted in the group) and don’t spam the group. One other benefit of doing it this way is that the information won’t be searchable on Google. You can request access here.
Conclusion
If you decide to join the group I will be working over the next few days to accept everyone and get some threads setup. When you join, feel free to share some info about yourself (or not) and/or a tip & trick to get the group off on the right foot.

We need a MtM secret society to talk secret stuff… $450 annual membership fee required.
haha, the same fee as those of premium CCs, huh?
No such club or fee will be coming, but it could give more value then the Prestige after the upcoming devaluation! 😉
We are also talking about miles and points in realtime on the Points With a Crew Slack channel –
