List Of Current Membership Rewards Transfer Bonuses
American Express has a lot of irons in the fire right now in terms of transfer bonuses. I love these since they give me more value for my points. It is one of the things that sets Amex apart from Chase, although Chase finally got in the transfer game recently. The frequency and variety of Membership Rewards transfer bonuses adds value to the program for people like us.
List of Current Transfer Bonus Offers
Remember that some of these offers are targeted and the amounts can vary from person to person.
JetBlue – 40% Bonus
This bonus is a little misleading since JetBlue is not a 1 to 1 transfer partner which is strange since their points are not overly valuable. With this bonus 250 Membership Rewards points gets you 280 TrueBlue points.
Qantas – 20% Bonus (Ending 6/30/19)
Qantas is new to the Membership Rewards family and they came out swinging. There is currently a 20% bonus for Qantas: 500 Membership Rewards gets you 600 Frequent Flyer miles.
Virgin Atlantic – 30% Bonus (Ending 7/1/19)
Virgin Atlantic is a favorite of mine for Delta flights. A 30% transfer bonus makes it all the sweeter too! 1,000 MR gets you 1,300 Flying Club miles.
Marriott Hotels – 40% Bonus
If you wanna get #Bonvoyed for cheaper then now is your chance. I can’t stand Marriott, especially lately, but they have many loyal members. Even with this bonus the redemption isn’t great but it makes it a plausible transfer now. 1,000 Memebership Rewards gets you 1,400 Bonvoy points.
British Airways Avios – Up to 50%
There is a new transfer bonus for British airways for targeted members. These miles have been devalued some lately but they still offer good value, especially with a 50% bonus. I even use them when they cost more miles because they can save me money. 1,000 Membership Rewards gets you up to 1,500 Avios.
Conclusion
That is the most transfer bonus offers at one time that I can remember. My wife’s account was targeted for most of them. I am contemplating doing a Virgin Atlantic transfer even though I hate to do them speculatively.
