Deal Roundup

Here’s a round up of deals that I came across over the last few days that many of you might find valuable.

  • Optical Disk Drive Settlement, Get $10 Per Drive (Deadline Extended Till 10/31/17). Most people should qualify for this. The settlements provide for $124.5 million in recovery for class members. You will receive up to $10/drive but it will be pro-rated based on number of claims. (More details at Danny the Deal Guru)
  • eBay Bucks Offer, Get 8% Back On Most eBay Purchases Till 9/29 (Targeted). Ebay has another offer that will give you 8% back in eBay Bucks on every qualifying purchase. As usual, this a targeted offer. Check here to see if you’re eligible. This time around there seems to be a separate offer for 10% eBay Bucks. Offer expires tonight.
  • Get $10 When You Upgrade To New eBay Mobile App (Targeted). You can get $10 to spend on the new eBay app. Just use code MYAPP5COUPON to get $10 off your purchase through October 15, 2017 – only available when checking out in the new eBay app (version 5.0 or newer). (HT: slickdeals)
  • Dosh, Get $12 When You Sign Up And Make A Purchase. They usually have a $5 signup bonus but now you can do even better if you never used the app. You can get a $10 bonus for connecting your first card — plus an additional $1 for connecting a 2nd & 3rd card. You need to make a purchase as well. (HT: Danny the Deal Guru)
  • Chase Business Checking $200 Bonus – No Direct Deposit Required. They’ve had a $500 bonus in the past, and sometimes $300 but if you don’t have any better offers you can do this now and go for e better bonus next year. (See details at Doctor of Credit)
  • Free $5 Starbucks Gift Card from Verizon Up. Verizon is giving members of their Verizon Up Rewards program a free $5 Starbucks gift card for Coffee Day 2017. (See details at Doctor of Credit)
  • AT&T ends participation in Plenti® rewards program. AT&T has announced that they will no longer be part of the Plenti Rewards Program. That means that you won’t be able to earn Plenti points for paying your bill or redeem Plenti points towards your bill after the end of October of this year. (Read more at r/churning)
  • National Coffee Day, Find Out Where You Can Get Your Free Coffee Today. Today is National Coffee Day. As usual, there’s all kinds of deals varying from free coffee to discounts. Check out a list of deals at Danny the Deal Guru.

Enjoy the rest of your day and your weekend!

Based in NYC. Points/miles enthusiast for years and actively writing about it for the last 6+ years at Danny the Deal Guru. I'm always looking out for deals. Making a few bucks is always nice, but the traveling is by far the best part of this business.
