deal roundupHere’s a round up of deals that I came across over the last few days that many of you might find valuable. Some of them expire today or in the next few days, so if interested, jump on them now.

  • AT&T will offer International Day Pass Plans starting this Friday. It is pretty expensive at $10-a-day, but could be of value, if you need to use lots of minutes/texts and data.  With the day pass, you can talk and text, almost all you want, and also access your data plan as though you’re in the states. I found out much it costs to use my AT&T phone while in Aruba few weeks ago. It was $2/MB, $3/min, 50c/msg and $1.30/media msg. Read more about it at Cnet.
  • Get 1-Year UPS My Choice Premium Membership For $10. The service costs $40 per year so this is nice discount available to new and existing members. Use promo code BYVJ9ZPF1. Make sure you turn off auto renew after you sign up. You can see premium member features here. (HT: slickdeals)
  • Get $15 Off $100 at Staples on regular priced items with promo code 91764 till 1/27. The offer is available online and for phone orders. Won’t work on gift cards, Apple or Amazon products etc. Keep in mind that there’s also another great deal at Staples this week with $20 rebate on $300 purchase of Visa gift cards (although you have to go in store for this one). (HT: DDG)
  • Get Free $10 at Kohl’s when you download the Kohl’s app and sign in. You need to make a purchase to get the $10 which comes in the form of 200 Yes2You points. This one expires today, 1/25. See offer page for more details. Also check Discover Deals if you have a Discover card. There’s a $10 Kohl’s coupon (YMMV) that expires on 2/7.
  • Targeted $400 bonus for new KeyBank checking account. All you need to do is complete a $500 direct deposit, but most likely you need to have received a direct mailer. The offer is available in AK, CO, CT, ID, IN, MA, ME, MI, NY, OH, OR, PA, UT, VT, WA only. Amazing offer if you’re able to apply. DoC has the details.

And Some More Juicy Deals

  • Get a free Burger at Shake Shack when you download the Shack App, create an account and use the promo code “shackappy” at checkout. Offer expires on Tuesday, February 28th, 2017. If you’re an Android user, you need to pay for your burgers. Sorry! See offer page for details.
  • Free Guac and Chips at Chipotle with Entree Purchase when you play the Cado Crusher Game.
  • $5 Off online Order of $5+ at Which Wich when you use promo code RN6PCPMP.  The offer is not valid in stores. You can only use it once per account. Expires on 1/31.

Have a great day!

  1. I just got a FreedomPop Global Data SIM, to use in an old iPhone internationally. Still early days, but this looks way better to me than AT&T!

    • I used FreedomPop global SIM on a recent Europe trip. Excellent service and the speeds were good enough for Facebook Live video broadcasting and VoIP calls on the Vonage app. One disappointment: It did not work as advertised in Hungary. If you search the FP forums it is a common issue.
