Dell Black Friday Deal Stacking
If you haven’t checked out my Amazon Black Friday deals master list then save yourself some shopping time and check it out! Amazon isn’t the only store on the block though. There are some good Dell Black Friday deal stacking options out there right now, especially for Amex Business Platinum cardholders that have some Dell credits left to burn.
First Up: Stack Your Dell Purchases With A Shopping Portal
Dell is currently offering 15%, or 15X Membership Rewards points, via Rakuten. If you don’t already have a Rakuten account then things get even better since they have a $40 new member bonus. Here is our referral link for that.
You will want to click through your Rakuten account first before making your Dell purchase. Doing so will reduce the price of whatever you buy by 15% essentially.
Nintendo Switch Console
Let’s start off this deal stacking with Nintendo Switch consoles. These are notoriously difficult to get at much of a discount. Unfortunately the OLED model doesn’t seem to be available on Dell’s site anymore but they have a deal on the Animal Crossing and standard model versions that offers some good savings.
- Animal Crossing or Standard Nintendo Switch – $299.99
- Dell $35 promotional gift card with purchase – $35
- This will come via email a week or two later
- Rakuten 15% back earning – $44.85
- As long as Nintendo is included. I couldn’t find it being excluded.
- Rakuten New Member Bonus – $40
If you qualify for the Rakuten new member bonus that will drop the price of the Switch to $180.14 plus tax essentially. If you have an Amex Business Platinum card with a $200 credit you are looking even better. Even if you already have a Rakuten account this would drop the Switch cost to $220.14.
This is of course valuing the Dell credit at full value for simplicity’s sake. They do sell Switch games so you can use it for that in a few weeks. You will also earn 2% back in Dell rewards ($6) which you can stack with the coupon on whatever you buy.
Bose Headphones & Speakers
When compiling the Amazon Black Friday deal list I noticed that Dell offered a better deal overall on many of the Bose headphones and speakers. That is because they are on the shopping portals where Amazon is not. Here are some of the better deals:
- Bose QuietComfort 45 Headphones – Various Colors – $249
- Bose Sport Earbuds Noise-Canceling Bluetooth Headphones – Various Colors – $129
- Bose SoundLink Revolve II – Speaker – for portable use – wireless – Bluetooth, NFC – App-controlled – USB – triple black – $179
You should be able to get 15% back on these purchases and potentially another $40 off for new Rakuten members. That makes these prices better than what you can get on Amazon. It gets even better with Biz Platinum credits.
Arcade 1UP Machines
Don’t forget about my favorite thing on Dell, the Arcade 1UP cabinets. They still have a ton of options available too. My favorites are The Simpsons, TMNT & NBA Jam. The same stacking opportunities as mentioned above apply here as well.
Stack With Amex Offers
There are some Dell Amex Offers out there as well for 10% off or bonus points earning. Be sure to check your accounts for this if paying with an American Express card for even more savings!
Final Thoughts
I am sure there are a ton of deals on monitors and computers today as well but that is boring. These deals are where the hidden magic is at! Get to stacking people.
…man I wish I still had some Biz Platinum credits right now, or that it was January 1st…

Isn’t it the case that in order to get the $200 amex platinum Dell credit you have to access the dell site through the very specific amex dell link found on the amex website. If you enter through a 3rd party portal will the dell credit still work?
I’ve never had a problem with going through a portal and triggering the credit
