Dell Emailing Xbox Gift Cards Today, After Canceling Orders

Xbox Gift Cards are a popular item for those looking to use the Amex Business Platinum Dell credit. As a reminder, you get $200 Jan-Jun, and another $200 Jul-Dec.

One major issue with Xbox Gift Cards is that Dell will often cancel orders. And that happened for many people over the last few days in 2022 as everyone was rushing to use their credits.

But if your order was canceled, you might still have received an email with the Xbox Gift Cards today.

I placed an order on December 22nd, which included a $100 gift card. I received the two items included in the order, and the statement credit for them posted on December 27th. But the Xbox Gift Card was canceled an never charged.

Fast forward to today, and the $100 Xbox Gift Card strangely showed up in my email, with subject “Dell Digital Locker Order | Order: XXXXXXXXX”. Several members in our MtM Diamond Slack also report receiving Xbox Gift Cards today from canceled orders, and there are many reports from redditors as well.

Let us know in the comments if you have received Xbox Gift Cards from canceled orders.

  1. I saw the emails in my spam folder and though I thought they might be real, I didn’t click through. So thanks for the post confirming their legitimacy. I found them in my Dell account and loaded them to my Microsoft account. $220 worth from one of my biz platinums. Time to try the others. 🙂
