Delta Business Class Award Space from JFK to Several European Cities
Delta Air Lines has opened up nonstop business class award space for travel between New York JFK and several European cities for bookings on partner airlines.
This is a great opportunity to travel to Europe in style at a reasonable price. The best option to book these flights would be with Virgin Atlantic miles. You would have to pay 50,000 Flying Club miles one-way. That’s an amazing deal, especially when compared to Delta’s award pricing.
To make things even better, there are no fuel surcharges as long as you book one way or round-trip originating from the United States.
If you need more Virgin Atlantic miles to book these award flights, you have several options for transfers. Virgin Atlantic is a transfer partner for Capital One, Chase, Citi or American Express, all at a ratio of 1:1.
But currently Amex is probably your best option as there’s a 30% transfer bonus that will give you a 1:1.3 ratio. That means that you can book one-way business class awards for just 39,000 Membership Rewards points.
Award space is available for the next 7-8 months on select dates only. You can travel from JFK to Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Frankfurt, Milan, Rome, Zurich and other European cities.
Conclusion
If you’re planning to travel to Europe in the next few months, then this is a great deal. You can book Delta business class awards using Virgin Atlantic miles and it costs you just 50,000 one-way. If you don’t have miles in your account, you can transfer from all major currencies such as Citi, Capital One and Chase. But Amex is the best option now with the 30% bonus.

Is there any way to add an additional leg from these European cities? I’m not sure what the carrier would be.
Thanks for the heads up, we just booked 2 Business to Berlin in June 2023
Hi – what’s the best way find availability? Checking on the virgin website and doesn’t seem to work on any dates.
