Delta One Sale To Europe
I’ll make this short and sweet so you can get to booking. There is a massive Delta One sale to Europe for this fall and winter. The price? A shockingly reasonable 148,000 Skymiles roundtrip plus taxes and fees. The old saver price used to be 170K and the new lows are probably 240K, and that is if you are extremely lucky. You could also check and see if these pair up with Virgin Atlantic space to see if they were released even cheaper for partner bookings.
Hat tip to MtM Diamond member Paul for finding this.

FYI got the deal on a booking between BTV and BRU, via JFK.
You list MSP above, but MSP is not on their dropdown list of US cities. I think there are others missing , as well.
Weird it was on there before – as was DTW. I would just do a calendar search since I still am seeing stuff show up for them when searching.
Yeah, I’ve checked MSP to a number of European cities in fall, and it’s nothing but a kick to the groin.
Hmm weird. Just searched Frankfurt really quickly and saw dates in Oct / Nov / Dec…same for Dublin. Maybe the cities you were looking at are just picked over already?
How is that AMAZING? I understand it is DL, but there are much better redemption values out there.
Nathan is spot on.
This is not a GREAT deal. Or AMAZING
And I actually like DL now… just not their program
It is amazing for Delta’s program compared to normal prices and for anyone that has Skymiles. Plus the availability and coverage is great compared to what you will find with other programs right now. If you are sitting on Skymiles this is the best you have seen in a while – that seems great to me but everyone has their own opinion…

I’ll take a look at it – thanks!
Example of dates and routes? Dont see anything.
The link gives you a break down of dates and routes on the Delta site then do a calendar search. I was able to get plenty to show up out of Detroit for Christmas markets in Germany etc. when I posted it.
Just searched DTW to Dublin – dates still available in October, November, December
Nice deal for Delta Skypesos. But it’s a sad state for your loyalty program when people get excited about RT airfare to Europe in biz for 150K miles. I mean Iberia offers RT biz for 68K miles for off peak (half the year). Flying Blue has deals on the regular. 150K AA miles would let you book RT on Qatar Qsuites to (almost) anywhere in the world.
If I had Skypesos laying around, I might book this. But I’ve burned most of my stash, and don’t plan to transfer any MRs because Delta is probably the lowest value partner out there, not to mention that pesky airline excise tax.
I can see that. Great if you have them maybe more painful if you need to transfer. Still round trip to Europe for $1600 in cash out cost via Charles Schwab. If you look at it that way it is still a really great deal plus availability is pretty wide open which is a bigger thing for a lot of people versus searching endlessly for space to save a few miles. To each their own for sure.
