Delta and its SkyTeam partners Air France and KLM are offering some fantastic roundtrip fares between various U.S. cities and Europe.

Need to Know

  • Availability through May, 2017
  • Search and book through an OTA or directly through the airlines. Some OTAs on Momondo are showing cheaper fares if you are willing to book through them.
  • Fares are in coach, but all Transatlantic flights are on Delta.

Book with ThankYou or Ultimate Rewards

While OTAs on Momondo go down to about $360 on some routes, if you book directly through Delta or via mainstream OTAs the price seems to be around $400 roundtrip. Thankfully I was able to find that both Citi ThankYou and Chase Ultimate Rewards can book these flights. For Sapphire Reserve cardholders the cost would be just 26,724 points as seen above or for Citi Prestige cardholders it would be 30,140.

Update: As commenters have pointed out, if you have a Business Platinum with Delta as your airline you get a 50% bonus on redeemed points meaning this costs just 20K Membership Rewards points and if you can find a fare below $400 then 20K Flex Points would be an amazing redemption. Great deals all around!

  2. Dang it. Forgot about the Biz Plat perk. I did the Amextravel.com Amex offer with the plat 5x + 6,000 MR bonus from Amex offer for ones seat and my prg with same Amex offer for my wife’s. Can I still cancel this from amextravel and rebook for the 20k MR X 2 for my wife and myself?
