Details of Refreshed Chase United Business Card
Chase briefly showed a refreshed United Business Card this morning on its website. The refreshed card was likely revealed early by mistake, as the current offer is set to expire on March 23rd. But we have the details of the new bonus, higher fee, and several new annual credits which is likely what we should see next week.
The card will have a higher welcome bonus of 125,000 miles after you spend $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months your account is open. Plus you get 5,000 bonus miles after you add an employee card to your account in the first 3 months.
The annual fee will go up to $150, from the current fee of $99. It’s possible to apply now for the lower annual fee and 100K bonus, and then hope for a match when the bonus goes up to 125K.
The card refresh also includes several new credits that resemble Amex cards. That includes:
- $125 United travel credit after making 5 United® flight purchases of $100 or more each calendar year with your United℠Business Card.
- Up to $25 in credits on FareLock purchases annually when you buy FareLock on a United – or United Express® – operated flight.
- Up to $100 in credits annually on prepaid hotel stays purchased directly through United® Hotels with your UnitedSM Business Card.
- Up to $100 in credits each calendar year on rideshare purchases when paying with your United℠Business Card.
- Up to $50 in United travel credits annually when you book Avis or Budget car rental directly through cars.united.com and pay with your United℠Business Card.
- Up to $100 in credits annually on flights purchased directly through JSXÂ with your Unitedâ„ Business Card.
- Up to $120 in Instacart credits each calendar year for purchases made directly through Instacart with your UnitedSM Business Card.

Conclusion
I was not able to see the exact terms on these new credits as the offer reverted back to the current card and 100K bonus. But some of these credits seem valuable, so it could actually be an improvement even with the higher annual fee. The downside is that you’ll even more credits to worry about every month, or every year.
