Hilton Honors Diamond Status Extension Offer
Hilton is once again offering its Diamond status extension promotion for elites who failed to requalify for Hilton Honors’ top tier status this year. Eligible Diamond members with expiring status can keep their existing status through next March. Let’s see the details of this promotion below.
Diamond Status Extension
Eligible Diamond members can extend their status for one year, one time, for any reason. You will qualify for Diamond status extension if:
- Your Diamond status expires on March 31, 2024.
- You have earned your Diamond status for at least three years. The years do not have to be consecutive.
- Have stayed at least 250 nights (paid or reward) with Hilton or earned 500,000 or more Base Points since joining Hilton Honors.
Key Terms
- Qualifying Hilton Honors Members may enact this benefit once throughout the lifetime of their membership.
- The year during which a Hilton Honors member used a status match to achieve Diamond Status will not count as one of the three years of Diamond status required to meet the criteria.
- Once a Member elects to use this one-time offer and the extension is applied to their account, this action is considered final and is not reversible.
- At the end of the extension time period, Hilton Honors members will need to complete the requirements to maintain Diamond status pursuant to the standard Hilton Honors Terms & Conditions.
- A Diamond Status Extension is granted at the discretion of Hilton Honors Worldwide, LLC and may be ended, or amended with or without notice or compensation, at Hilton Honors’ sole discretion.

You act like this is a special deal. It has been a benefit of Diamond status for years. I will likely take advantage of it for 2025 (24 year Diamond here but still 300,000 points and 250 nights away from lifetime Diamond status).
